Members of DAR are a vibrant and active group of women who are passionate about performing service to their community, preserving history, and educating children. In addition, the DAR woman honors and supports those who serve our nation.
Our chapter meets once a month, September through May, for lunch and a program. We have interesting and informative guest speakers that cover topics of historical events, support of veterans and active military, and promotion of educational enrichment.
We enjoy our volunteer activities and are proud to make a difference in the lives of our community, state, and country. A few of our ongoing activites included: observing Constitution Week in September, supporting the DAR Schools, projects to support veterans and active military men and women, and participating in the DAR Good Citizens Award program and scholarship contest.
We welcome visitors to our meetings. Please click on the link in the left column to contact us for more information.
