The Liberty Hall Chapter, National Society Daughters of the Revolution, is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was the thirteenth chapter in North Carolina, organized March 13, 1909 with thirty-one members. Our chapter is named for Liberty Hall, an academy for boys (1750-1780) that was located at the southwest corner of what is now Tryon Street and Third Street in downtown Charlotte and attended by sons of American patriots.
The chapter meets on the second Thursday of each month, September through May (unless noted otherwise) in members’ homes and at other historic sites. The chapter has programs and speakers at each meeting, ranging in topics of historic preservation, patriotism, and education.
