Why join the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR)? Here's what some of our members might say:

♦  Our chapter does a lot of charitable work, especially for children and homeless veterans. I wanted to help.

♦  Our country wouldn't exist today without the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who supported the American Revolution. Recognizing and remembering their accomplishments is important.

♦  Historic preservation and encouraging young people to study our history are really important to me. I value the opportunity to work on our student programs.

♦  I'm a genealogist. Joining the DAR both tests the quality of my work and preserves it for use by others.
